DWG Trueview is an application developed to make handling of DWG and DWF files easier. This means that viewing, plotting and publishing of the required files becomes a lot more accurate and a lot easier.
It is also based on the former program DWG TrueConvert and has embodied the full suite of functions that can also be found in it. Thanks to this upgrade, AutoCAD and AutoCAD based files can be translated into more compatible formats.
Why is DWG format type so relevant? It seems to have become the designer industry standard, because it is easy to share designs and access them from elsewhere. Autodesk brainchild DWG technology boasts the reliability and integrity of the data when users use DWG formats. There is a string of features found in this useful package. Everything from Sharing AutoCAD drawings to viewing and plotting files, to publishing the DWG files in 3D format.
You can use DWG TrueView to accurately view, plot, and publish authentic DWG files. You will be able to view and plot DWG and DXF files, and later on publish them as DWF files for easy review and markup in Autodesk Design Review. You may take accurate distance and area measurements with the new object snap capabilities. You will be able to publish 3D DWF files, and will always get full drawing fidelity for its viewer is built on the same technology as the AutoCAD 2009.
DWG Trueview converts sets of drawings from new versions of AutoCAD to older versions, and the other way around, using TrueConvert functionality. It adds page setup information during the conversion process, and uses the AutoCAD eTransmit technology to pack a complete file set for conversion.
